About the Chef

I have three great passions – my family, my friends, and my cooking. I am blessed with a loving and supportive husband and three growing boys. So I am fortunate that I can cook for these boys who never stop eating!

In remaining true to myself and my customers, everything is handmade from scratch in small batches. Believe me, you will know this when you taste it. There is nothing I love more than seeing the smile on the faces of customers as they try the toffee for the first time, or the thousandth time….So go ahead and try our toffee. Another smile I can add to the list!

Professional Experience

Kate received a Professional Cooking Certificate and graduated top of her class at Le Cordon Bleu in Chicago. Other culinary related certifications include ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification (Sanitation) and Presenting Service Certification.

Prior to the inception of Kate’s Kreations she earned a B.S. degree from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and worked in the financial services and information technology industries.
